AJ Jackson is a journalist, writer and die-hard Dodgers fan. Having played baseball in high school while editing his school newspaper, AJ studied English at both the University of Vermont and Kean University before settling into a career writing. AJ has served as an editor for numerous publications including, most recently working as editor in charge of Shouted Whisper Magazine and for www.uniteddivas.com. AJ is also an acomplished poet, who someimtes writes under the pen name Middlepoet. He is the Poet Laureate of Jersey City, NJ as well as a two time recipient of grants from the Puffin Foundation and a Pen fellowship semi-finalist.
